The Early Years

The Boston Bruins were founded in 1924 by Charles Adams, who also owned the Boston Braves baseball team. The Bruins were one of the Original Six teams in the National Hockey League (NHL), and they have won six Stanley Cup championships, the most recent of which came in 2011.
